What guarantee do I have when buying from Quero Abadá?
We are a registered travel and events agency, with a CNPJ (Brazilian company registration) and up-to-date registration with the official tourism and events bodies, and a leader in selling abadás for blocos, camarotes and hotels for the Salvador Carnival. On our social media you'll find photos, videos and customer reviews.
What are the advantages of buying with Quero Abadá?
You skip the lines at the sales centers, can get your abadás with special delivery, find discounted packages and can secure your abadá before the launch with the Vale Abadá, in interest-free installments.
Payment
What are the payment methods?
Credit card in up to 12 installments (the interest-free installments vary by product), boleto (Brazilian bank slip) in up to 4 installments, Pix in installments or Pix in a single payment.
My boleto was due on a weekend or holiday. What should I do?
Pay it on the next business day, with no fine or interest. The due date is extended automatically.
How do I get a copy of the boleto?
In the Customer Center, under My orders, open the order and choose the installment. You can print the boleto or copy the barcode.
Abadá pickup
Where do I pick up my abadá for the Salvador Carnival?
At our pickup point at Salvador Shopping, free of charge, in a safe, air-conditioned space. If you arrive by plane, you can get it at Salvador Airport for a R$ 130 fee (free if you book a hotel with us). You choose the delivery when you buy or change it later in My orders.
What do I need to show at pickup?
An original photo ID and the Voucher de Retirada (pickup voucher, QR code), generated in the Customer Center once the order is fully paid. If you paid by card, also bring the card used for the purchase. Someone else's card: the cardholder signs the authorization on gov.br, through the site. Only the order holder can pick it up.
Can I choose my abadá size at pickup?
No. Abadás are made in a single size, equivalent to L (G in Brazil). Sometimes there are a few larger shirts, handed out first come, first served, with no guarantee.
Where can I customize my abadá?
We partner with Carnavalis. Get your Vale Customização (customization voucher) and have your abadá your way. Questions: @carnavalis on Instagram.
Can someone else pick up my abadá?
No. Only the order holder can pick it up, and we don't accept a power of attorney. If someone else is going to pick up the abadá, transfer the order to them first, in Customer Center > Transfer order: they need an account on the site, the fee is 5% of the order amount up to 30 days before Carnival (10% after that) and you sign the agreement on gov.br. Once approved, the new holder picks it up with their own ID.
Exchanges and cancellation
Can I exchange products in my order?
Yes, up to 30 days before the event. In the Customer Center, open the order in My orders and click Exchange products. The fee is 10% of the products leaving the order and, if there is a refund, R$ 12 for the transfer. Promotional products (combos, discounted packages and Black Friday) cannot be exchanged. Card refunds can take up to 90 days.
How do I cancel my order?
On the site, in Customer Center > Cancellation: choose the order, see how much you get back and confirm through the link sent to your e-mail. Fine on the canceled amount: 10% up to 7 days after purchase, 20% up to 30 days before, 50% between 30 and 15 days before; after that, cancellation is not possible. Vale Abadá has no fine up to 30 days before Carnival; after that, an unused Vale loses its value. Credit generated by an exchange in this order can be canceled, with the fine for the date. Credit from other years, other orders or conversion cannot be canceled or refunded; the other items can. The refund is made within 10 business days for boleto or Pix and within 90 days on the card statement.
I bought but can't go. What should I do?
Transfer the order to someone else in Customer Center > Transfer order (5% fee up to 30 days before Carnival, 10% after that), convert the amount into credit, or cancel on the site, in Customer Center > Cancellation, with a fine depending on the date.
Is there ticket insurance?
Yes. It costs 8% of the abadás' value and guarantees a refund if you can't go because of a covered unforeseen event, such as an accident, fracture, serious illness or temporary disability. Add it when you buy.
Vale Abadá
How do I use the Vale Abadá?
Log in to the Customer Center, choose Exchange Vale-Abadá, select the products and the quantity and click Request exchange. If the voucher doesn't cover the amount, you pay the difference.
When can I exchange my Vale Abadá?
After paying the first installment. You don't need to have paid everything to exchange it, but all installments must be paid before you pick up the abadás.
Blocos and camarotes
Does the camarote abadá give access to the blocos?
Not at the Salvador Carnival. The camarote abadá is valid only for the camarote purchased. You can leave and come back on the same day, following each camarote's hours. At micaretas and parties, camarote guests usually have access to the dance floor, but not the other way around.
Can I join a bloco and go to a camarote on the same day?
Yes. They are two separate purchases: the bloco abadá and the camarote abadá, each with its own price.
Can I take a minor to the camarote?
It depends on the camarote. Most accept minors under 18 accompanied by their parents or legal guardians. See the list on this page.
